Day is done. A regular kind of day. Some kid-chauffeuring, some connected time with friends, some mundane tasks, some amazing theater (Iz’s troupe’s penultimate performance of She Kills Monsters), some tears (they are part of regular for the time being).
And now, with boys in bed and awaiting a late night call to pick up iz from a friend’s, I sit.
I read, quiet my system, replenish and renew. Connecting in with my breath to all that is- within and around me. Ensuring that this is part of “regular”- this checking in, this tuning in, this mindful being.
