Today held a lot. For all four of the members of our family unit, but predominantly for the female members. Fear, anger, sorrow, angst, forgiveness, love, compassion, connection. Letting the feelings come and go took some real practice (and I’ll admit to failing a few times).
The storm came and went all day. And then, something shifted. The doors for heartfelt communion and connection opened more fully than it had. We stepped through and found each other. Once through the door, we got a little help from Mary.
Paul clearly knew what he was talking about, because in my (our) hour of darkness, she was standing right in front of me (us), speaking words of wisdom:
"Let it be"
(And let love flow).
